Welcome to the premiere posting of the HRN Management Group HR News & Views blog. So why blog? The answer is simple. First and foremost HRN is an HR company. We stay informed about what is going on in the industry; from the court room to the break room. From FMLA and ADA to ‘what the heck were they thinking?’. Our goal is to simplify HR management by providing clear and concise information to HR professionals that is easy to understand, and respects your time. The truth is we research, evaluate and produce more HR related industry information than we can possibly contain in our biweekly HR Update newsletter, HR Notes newsletter, or monthly white paper—and a blog is the most ideal way to share this information with the widest possible audience.
I'm the HRN marketing guy, so I'm probably the last person you want to hear from, but I think you will find my observations about the industry and updates about HRN products insightful and informative. So give me a chance. In addition to me, you'll be hearing from Jane Haertel, JD, our Executive Vice President. Jane tirelessley researches and writes about a wide variety of HR topics that I know you will find of interest, to the point, and enjoyable to read. If nothing else this blog is intended to prove to Jane that there are people out there that actually do care what she has to say. Our Director of Product Development and Customer Support is Michele Lindsay. Michele too, will be providing periodic postings to let our clients and others who are interested know the latest news about HRN product features.
